After I finally got around to reading the comic, I couldn't imagine how they would compress it down into a movie. Aside from maybe The Black Freighter bits (which will supposedly be an animated extra on the DVD), there's no fluff to this story. The writing is so tight, everything about it is absolutely essential. But just from watching the trailer, I can tell they're hitting on all the important stuff. It blows my mind.

I've read so many articles in Wizard magazine that mention Watchmen atleast once or twice. I'll probably see this just because I'm too lazy to search for the comic.
