Pixel ID part deux
For anyone that cares, here's the official retcon:
During the final days of the Saiyajin-Tsufurujin War, a child of mixed blood was born. For the crime of crossbreeding, the Saiyajin father was to be executed with his family, so he fought to ensure his son's escape. An experimental space pod created by his Tsufurujin mother whisked the child away to a distant galaxy.
Damaged from the hazardous journey, the pod landed on a border planet and the child struggled to survive in the primordial wilds. Years later, settlers of another race came to the tiny world. The Sangheili are formidable warriors in their own right, but they are balked by the ferocious child. Though they determined he and his now-decrepit craft were unrelated to their gods, the Forerunners, there was still much to learn. Sangheili clerics endeavored to teach civilization to the feral alien by means of their holy scriptures. Growing up among them, his prowess even earned him a name: Songo 'Harotto.
Change was on the wind. An alliance was forged between the Sangheili and their long-time rivals, the San 'Shyuum, but not all were satisfied with these turn of events. Songo's tribe resisted the forming of the Covenant and were labeled heretics to be exterminated. With the demi-Saiyajin on their side, whose natural might overwhelms even the best Covenant artillery, they took a stand. However it is not to be, as Songo was brought low by single combat with the first Arbiter of the Covenant, a duel that killed them both.
Songo's restless spirit awoke among the myriad peoples of Soul Society, where he learned much about his heritage and what had come to pass for his adopted family after his demise. Too did he learn that there were other kinds of power than merely the strength of his limbs, so he seized for himself a zanpakuto and learned from like-minded Shinigami how to conquer his inner Hollow. Now known as Son Goharotto, he returned to the mortal realm to wreck bloody havoc on all who oppose him.
Will any of this have an impact on my work? No. But it's fun. </fanboy glee>

Interesting idea making him a Saiyajin-Tsufurujin cross-breed, I don't recall seeing such before. Though I think it does make sense after thinking about it.
